A. Major Changes in Rules in 2004 Seasn
1.  Determining what base school a non base school player lives closest to is no longer a straight line on a map. Starting in 2004, this determination will made by using DeLorme Street Atlas Software - 2004 edition. Note - Be careful to chose the shortest distance between the street address of the players residence and the street address of the base school - do not use the fastest


B. Major Changes in Rules for 2003 Season

1. January 1st is now the date for determining  a players age - If a player is 18 on January 1, he plays the entire season as an 18 year old.

2. The population of drawing  schools can not exceed 5000. Last year the limit was 4000.

3. The "by-pass rule" has been eliminated


C. Team Registration Notes

1.  DO NOT List the college a player is attending - you must list the high school from which he graduated.

D.  Insurance

1. All returning team MUST have the completed insurance application and payment in by March 31.

E. Base School Changes

1. Base School Changes must be approved by the State Baseball Chairman no later than March 1.
